With many years of scanning experience and knowledge with 3D-focused softwares (Metashape, Reality Capture, Nuke, Houdini, Blender etc..) I can also provide consultation services for best methods/procedures when scanning all sorts of elements.

Requirements
- Any modern phone with a good camera can work for this, however a dedicated DSLR or 360 camera will provide better results.
- Avoid blurry & unfocused images, if possible use a tripod for best results.
- Videos are easier to take, but photographs can provide better results.
- Make sure to take plenty of pictures from all angles!
Otherwise the process may fail or turn out with suboptimal quality.

Full Process
1 - Scanning (Optional)
If you don't have a dataset to use for this, I can give you some extra insight & advice on how to scan whatever it is you are planning on turning into a 3D model for free!

2 - Uploading the dataset to Google drive
Once you have the images/videos ready, you will need to upload them into google drive so that I can access them.

3 - Aligning the dataset
Here is where you sit & relax for me to do the rest of the work.
I will download the dataset, optimize it and attempt to "align" it which will basically determine whether the images/videos you took are good enough for this.
If the alignment fails, I will let you know so that you can retake the footage/pictures again. At this stage you can also decide to let things be and try another time as I will NOT charge you anything!

4 - Reconstruction
If the alignment does succeed, I will go ahead and reconstruct a "sample" render for you to see, if you are happy with it we can then agree on a fair price based on the size of the dataset used before heading to the final step.
Remember this is done on an individual basis, meaning that unlike other platforms where you pay for an automated algorithm to do this for you, you can always talk to me and I will do my best to make the most out of your particular needs.

5 - Export & visualisation
Lastly, once I've received the payment, I will go ahead and finalise the reconstruction in its highest quality possible, sending you the raw files as well as a web-based file where you can visualize the finalised 3D gaussian splat model through your web viewer without needing to download anything!

As previously mentioned, this ONLY applies if the alignment step succeeds and you are willing to proceed with the final reconstruction, so no need to worry about anything!
